Fabrics and Japanese books to go
When I called my husband and found that he went yum cha after taking sil, bil and nephew for a very important consultation with the surgeons yesterday, I knew that's hope. All of us could breathe easier. Thank you all again for thinking good thoughts, they must have helped. It rained today and since we can't take the children to play outside, I decided to take pictures of the fabrics and the books that I mentioned earlier and boy, this sure took a lot of time.
The give aways: all fabrics listed here are for free including shipping. Just leave me a comment or email which you like and I'll contact you via email for your address.
*Taken* Black floral cotton fabric - about 115 cm x 138 cm (45 inches x 54 inches). You can see the skirt I made from this fabric here.

*Taken* Bue 'Maui' fabric 95 cm x 148 cm (37 inches x 58 inches). Curtain weight fabric, meant for a bag.

*Taken* Terry cloth (assorted sizes, less than quarter yard each). Cotton and synthetic mix in green, peach and dark magenta. The first two are the same fibre, the dark magenta is more synthetic than the rest).

*Taken* Assorted small pieces of fabrics (some silk, some cashmere wool, some synthetic, some cotton). The silks are samples, the cashmere/wool is left from this blanket.

Japanese books - Prices include shipping, also please leave me a comment or email if interested.
*Taken* Tawashi book - ISBN427749031X. See photos of some of the tawashi patterns that I made in this post. 19 patterns, mostly crochet. I'll also include some leftover Hamanaka tawashi acrylics in the package.

*Taken* Children Knit and Crochet book - ISBN4529035360, 30 patterns for size 90cm to 120cm. There are a few mother/daughter patterns too.

I made this pattern for JY a few years back. Below are some other patterns.

*Taken* John Lennon Sweater Book - ISBN4529031594, 20 patterns for men, women, children and accessories. A vintage one circa 1998.

*Taken* '03-04 Autumn/Winter book - ISBN4408626473, 97(!) knitting and crochet patterns mostly for women, some men, accessories like hats, scarves, doggies sweaters, ponchos, shawls, handphone cozies, bags, etc. Some patterns are very easy and variations on patterns are shown. There is also a nice section on 'how-tos'.

I'd love to have the John Lennon book!

How very generous! I've been following your interesting posts, and I really appreciate the view from different places.
Anyway, I know it is already spoken for, but if that doesn't work out, I am fascinated by the Lennon sweater book. I've already been working out of Japanese knitting books so I'm used to the charting, etc. I can pay for postage or send you a swap ... let me know... thanks ...

Hi! I just found your blog. I'm thrilled to finally "know" a S'porean crafter living elsewhere. I don't know anything about knitting but I think your knitting skills are superb! :-)

Hi, I found your blog on a roam and I love your afghan sampler. It's so gorgeous. Were all of the stitch patterns in the 4 books you mention, or is there one place I can find them all? I have the perfect yarn ready. It was going to be a ripple afghan, but now I'm definitely making one like yours!! True inspiration±
