I didn't today (well, actually yes as I wear my handknit socks to bed every night in winter) but did yesterday and the day before. Lolly has started a Handknit Street Style Flickr group and I'd thought to show you some of my recent 'street styles' rather than bogged you with more hats.
The old rose crochet scarf is still one of my favourites. I wore it last Friday.
I put on my Jaywalkers on Saturday to Eva's place for our knitting meet up and who would be there but my 'sock twin', Joy. Can you tell which feet are mine and which hers? And the pair of pink and grey slippers peeking out in the background is a Christmas gift from Joy! See the other pairs that she made for our other knit pals here. Isn't she a gem?
Ok. I still will have to show you one more hat. The Striped Beret proudly modelled for you by Terry and there's nothing trickier than modelling a beret, in my opinion, and Terry does it in great style.
The flat view.

And the inside. Doesn't it kind of look like a sea urchcin?

You and your friends have fabulous street style!

Your hand knits are always so beautiful! And I have on right now, my socks in the exact same colorway as your jaywalkers, knit in straight stitch. I love them! Also wore my red Mountain Colors chuncky scarf in Ruby River and my Natalia wristers. It's really cold in Rhode Island right now.

I love seeing people wearing their handknits! Cute sock-twins, I can't tell you apart at all.
And the beret is fantastic - where did the pattern come from?

Lovely "Street Style" knits! I love that rose crocheted scarf, I need to learn to crochet....
You have inspired me to start a hat for my husband! I will probably have photos up in a few days. :)

Your handknit is always great. I also wear my handknit socks to bed every night. As many bloggers have knitted the jaywalkers, I think that jaywalkers is the most beautiful sock using stripes yarn. I should print out the pattern and knit one.

Hmmm, are you the feet nearest the ball of yarn?
Great handknits!

So cute, you arranged for the socks to meet :) And Terry wore the beret with great style. (I often knit with the ball of yarn on the floor too.)

Love. That. Scarf.
The only thing that might bother me about wearing something like that is that there is nothing on the other side. . . I like my scarves to be reversible. Do you find this a problem?

Love that gorgeous scarf! And I just noticed the almost identic pairs of jeans that you and Joy were wearing that day. What a perfect duet! ;o)
