Whisper on location
Whisper on the Star Ferry

Whisper in the twilight
At long last, my September stashbuster is completed. Just in time for the first hint of a cooler weather yesterday and I wore it out immediately. I love it! Good thing to have bought the lovely shell buttons well before hand. Just that, the cardigan is not quite child-proof. Both of my kids took turns every so often to tuck at my sleeves to tell me to look at something yesterday. And I couldn't help but gapped at the way the sleeve stretches. Calmer is, by the way, rather stretchy and doesn't bounce back quite as readily as wool. It is a dream to knit though. And the sleeves are too big on top of being too long. The problem, I reckon, has to do with my too thin arms. I wish I could transfer some of my ample thighs and calves to my arms. On the whole, the cardigan is still a bit on the big side for me. My husband's comment: woa, so white. Well, the colour is not called 'Bleached' for nothing.

I think it looks beautiful!

Oh boy - is THAT beautiful! And my opinion is that it looks wonderful on you. Don;t worry about the sleeves; they look fine :)
I take it the little one was being a bit rambunctious when the picture was taken? Pretty cute :)

Whisper is really really beautiful. As the others said, it doesn't look too big on you ... I think the long sleeves is part of the design detail. Originally I planned to make it using Cotton Ease ... but perhaps it's time to make some real winter sweaters. Next year, next year! ;)

Ohhhh, I love it. Elegant is someone else's word, but it's a perfect description. I love how the white and the swoopy parts give the idea of a cloud. I have a large stash of red Calmer, and I doubt it would look half as nice in red. Although now I'm really thinking I'd like to try. Bravo!

Hey, this looks great! I think the slight oversizedness (is that even a word?) works in part due to the slouchy bits. Well done!

This looks so stylish, really lovely. The relaxed shape looks good and fits you so well. Like the way you wore it as a shirt.

It's beautiful. I really, really love the detail. It's a truly unique knit. I think you should wear it at least a couple of months before you alter anything. The long sleeves may grow on you.

Whisper is just gorgeous!!! And the white color just added to it's elegance. I think you don't need to worry about the size, it fits you well.

I'm tempted to agree with you about the sleeves being a bit too long. But the rest of it is just lovely, very flattering, too. And in Calmer! oh, so soft!

I think it looks great on you. Have been looking at this pattern for a while but I think it wouldn't go with my stash of fushcia pink calmer .
